Bur Dubai is a historical district in Dubai Creek literally meaning ?mainland Dubai.? An Abra or a traditional boat was used to ferry people from one side to the other but nowadays, the Floating Bridge, Al Maktoum Bridge, and Al Shindagha Tunnel connect the 2 neighborhoods.
